It is well known that colours can greatly affect our moods and that’s why it’s so important to inject the right colours into your home.

Here at PT we have been thinking about fresh starts, reflecting on our hopes for the new year and consulting our design team to find the perfect colour to kick start the year: Rainforest Green.

Grow with Green

After the turbulence of the last few years, it feels important to create a sense of security and tranquillity in our safe spaces and we think that green is the perfect shade for the job.

Symbolising growth and stability it is clear why green is dominating interiors and the deep yellowy hues of Rainforest Green bring a touch of nature and elegance to the winter months. Created using a mix of blue and yellow, green is the balance of calm and optimism – perfect to take into the new year.

Complimentary Hues

Co-ordinate Rainforest Green with teal and yellow shades to compliment the deep green hue.

Where darker hues are known to make a space appear more closed, the contrast of light creams make a space appear large whilst keeping a cosy feel. Compliment cream walls with curtains or upholstery in the deep green hue and accessorise with gold accents by upgrading door handles and light fixtures to achieve a warm glow.
